We’ve received a lot of questions about the Step 180 since creating it. Here’s our attempt to answer the most common questions. If you don’t find an answer here email us at [email protected].

Can I Install The Step 180 With My Existing Cabinets?

No. Installing the Step 180 after your cabinets is very difficult. Retrofitting an existing kitchen design to accept a Step 180 is expensive & time-consuming.

Can I Leave A 1 1/2″ Gap Between Two Cabinets And Have My Kitchen Built While I Wait For My Step 180 To Arrive?

There are two main components to the Step 180. The first is the stool itself. The second is the guide. To properly install the guide, you’ll want to put it in before dropping the counter on top of the lower cabinets. You’ll also want to make sure that you have the Step 180 present to ensure that the guide is at the proper height. Check out the Step 180 Installation Manual for more information.

Does Hideaway Solutions Have A Patent For The Step 180?
